As the autumn leaves begin to fall and the crisp air sets in, the Ó£ÌÒÉç½» (UL) is set to welcome a new wave of over 1500 international students for the academic year 2024/2025 in just under 2 weeks. This marks the beginning of an exciting journey for students from all corners of the globe, who bring with them diverse cultures, perspectives, and aspirations. The vibrant campus, renowned for its academic excellence and picturesque setting, is ready to offer these students a unique and enriching experience.

UL is coordinator of the EMERGE (Empowering the Margins of Europe through Regional and Global Engagement) Alliance that comprises nine universities on the edge of Europe.

The Ó£ÌÒÉç½» (UL), Ireland and Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (BUET), Bangladesh have signed a joint Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) to start a Dual Master programme. Professor Nigel Healey, Vice President Global and Community Engagement and Professor Satya Prasad Majumdar, Vice Chancellor of BUET signed this document on 13 March 2024.
